Vinyylikerhossa soi ja rahisi vinyyli kiirastorstain lempeässä iltapäivässä 18.4.2019

 

Tuomas Pelttarin isännöimässä Vinyylikerhossa to 18.4.2019 kuultiin Topias Tiheäsalon valitsemia vinyylilevyjä kirjaston kokoelmasta. Turun kaupunginkirjaston pääkirjaston Musiikkiosaston Stagella keskusteltiin levyjen lomassa musiikista ja sen syvästä jäljestä. Muusikko, freelance-toimittaja ja musiikkipedagogi Tiheäsalo muisteli musiikkiharrastuksensa alkua ja sitä, miten LP:t ja seiskat muuttivat elämää.

Turussa pitkään vaikuttanut Tiheäsalo on nähnyt paikallista musiikkielämää sen monilta puolilta jo parinkymmenen vuoden ajan. Kaunis aurinko kutsui ulos, mutta musiikki houkutteli mahtavan määrän ”kerholaisia” osastolle.

Vinyylikerhon isännän ja kutsuvieraan kokemus konseptista oli positiivinen. Musiikki oli herättänyt paljon ajatuksia ja kokemuksia puoleen sun toiseen.  Rupattelu yleisön ja esiintyjien välillä oli esiintyjien mukaan ”se juttu”. Mikäs sen parempi tapa viettää keväistä iltapäivää kuin musiikin ääressä turinoiden.
